Facts about soap
- A bar of soap can be bought as it is without any packaging, plastic and pumps that burden the environment. Did you know that more than 60% of the cost of liquid soap is in fact in the packaging, and that you are also paying for a great deal of water contained in liquid soap?
- A bar of soap can be manufactured in all shapes, sizes, and colors. Soap can have patterns on it, small peeling corns, or petals - only our imagination sets the limits.
- Liquid soap costs about ten times as much as a bar of soap to use (see dailyfinance.com).
- Bars of soap are easier to transport. Easier transportation lessens carbon dioxide emissions and thus, the negative environmental impact.
